Could 100 Men Really Take Down a Gorilla?
So what would it take to bring down this damn gorilla? It won’t take 100 guys, or even close to it. I need a roster of 10, and that’s all I think it would take. So, here’s the plan. We need two guys for each arm and leg, one guy to hold it’s head, and then one final guys to pin it down. For the arms and legs, we need guys who have incredible leg and core strength to keep the limbs from moving around. The eight guys I’m assigning to those will be: Myles Garrett and Aaron Donald on one arm, arguably the two most freakishly strong football players in the past decade; Giannis Antetokounmpo and LeBron James on the other arm, as they are both above 6’8” and weigh almost a combined 500 pounds of pure muscle and strength; on one leg, give me Eddie Hall and Dwayne Johnson, two absolute units who could lift over a thousand pounds together; and on the final leg, give me defensive tackles Dexter Lawrence and Vita Vea, both of which are almost 350 pounds each. For the head, I want David Goggins as he will give everything he has to keep the gorilla under control. Finally, I want Vea’s teammate and newly pro defensive tackle Desmond Watson to pin the gorilla down, as at his peak he weighed almost 465 pounds, had ridiculous strength, and still had enough mobility to get around when necessary. Would 100 average men be able to take down a gorilla? Absolutely. Not even a question. In fact, I doubt 40 men wouldn’t be able to. But if we got to pick the guys going up against it, I think these 10 could do it all by themselves.
